Le Boréon

The Boréon Centre gets its name from the mountain stream that forms a 40 metre high waterfall, that you can admire from the road. It then hurtles down to Saint Martin Vésubie.
The Lake, where during the season the fishermen cast their lines opposite the peaks, abuts the Nordic Centre and the parc Alpha. In summer, the Boréon Chalet is the departure point for many a hiker and a meeting point for those who wish to climb. In winter, the Chalet du Boréon becomes the Nordique Centre with 22 km of basic ski slopes, a biathlon stadium and 18 km of snowshoe hiking. In Summer as in Winter, the Parc Alpha honours the legendary animal of the mountain : The Wolf ! In semi-liberty, 3 wolf packs live as if in the wild. In high season, the mini-farm, the falconry displays and the storytelling enchants the whole family. The restaurant l’Ô à la Bouche, at the Chalet du Boréon, offers a refined menu around a convivial fire in winter or out on the terrace in summer.
